student-safe links and only under the supervision of an adult who is responsible for their use.

If you sign up on behalf of a school, district, or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

3. Privacy

Your use of Cram Jams is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Teachers and administrators may use the site with students without entering any student personal information into Cram Jams.

4. Your Account

Please keep your login information private. You may not:

  • share your login with colleagues, students, or anyone else
  • allow others to use your subscription
  • transfer your account to another person

If a school purchases a school-wide license, individual staff members will receive their own accounts.

Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Classroom Use and Sharing With Students

  • play videos for your students in class
  • use the printable resources with your students

You may not upload or repost Cram Jams videos or PDFs to YouTube, social media, school apps, shared drives, or any other platform unless we give written permission.

7. School Subscriptions and Sub-Accounts

If you purchase a School Subscription, you are licensing Cram Jams for use by the teachers and staff of a single school campus.

Sub-accounts created under a School Subscription:

  • may only be used by educators and staff employed at the same school that purchased the subscription
  • may not be shared with individuals outside that school
  • may not be used to provide access to multiple schools, campuses, or districts

The number of sub-accounts available under a School Subscription is intended to accommodate the reasonable staffing needs of one school.
We may apply technical or administrative limits to ensure appropriate use of the Service.

Using a single School Subscription to provide access to multiple schools or an entire district is not permitted. District licenses require separate arrangements.

8. Subscriptions, Renewals & Cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings.

Refund policies (if any) are described on our website or checkout pages.

School and district licenses may have separate terms described in their quotes or invoices.

  • attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or interfere with the site
  • scrape, download, or automate access to the site

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All videos, music, lyrics, text, graphics, logos, PDFs, and all other materials on Cram Jams are the property of Cram Jams Co. or its creators.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any Cram Jams content. You may use the content only as described in these Terms.

11. Changes to the Service

We may update or modify Cram Jams from time to time—for example, by adding lessons, adjusting features, improving security, or fixing issues.

We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version with a revised “Last Updated” date.

If you are unhappy with Cram Jams, your sole remedy is to stop using the site.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cram Jams, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • your use of the site

COPPA and FERPA

At Cram Jams, we are dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and security of all users. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and we design our platform to avoid collecting or processing any student personal information.

COPPA Compliance

COPPA requires special protections for children under 13. Cram Jams complies with COPPA by not collecting any personal information from children and by designing our student-access pages to operate without cookies, tracking technologies, analytics tools, or identifiers.

Students do not create accounts. Instead, teachers access the site and may share anonymous, view-only links with students. These links automatically disable all analytics, advertising, and tracking functionality.

The only individuals who create accounts on Cram Jams are teachers or school administrators, and the information collected from them is strictly limited to what is necessary for account management and subscription access.

FERPA Compliance

FERPA governs student education records. Cram Jams is not a custodian of any student education records and does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) about students.

Our platform is designed so that:

  • No student data is stored or transmitted
  • No student identifiers are created
  • No cookies or tracking technologies run on student-facing lesson pages
  • Vimeo videos are embedded with Do Not Track (dnt=1) enabled to prevent viewer data collection

Because no student data is handled, FERPA’s data-management requirements do not apply; however, we voluntarily meet FERPA-aligned security best practices.

Cookie Usage

Cram Jams uses no cookies, analytics, or tracking tools on any student-facing content, including lesson pages and video pages accessed via teacher-shared links.

On teacher-facing administrative pages, we use minimal, functional cookies required for secure login and account management. Marketing or analytics cookies (e.g., for ad attribution) are used only on general marketing pages and are never active in student-access areas.

Our Commitment to Privacy

We are committed to ongoing compliance with all applicable privacy laws, including COPPA, FERPA, and relevant state student-data privacy requirements. All data transmitted through our platform is protected with HTTPS encryption. Cram Jams uses Cloudflare solely for secure content delivery and firewall protection—no Cloudflare analytics or advertising features are enabled.

For any questions regarding privacy, security, COPPA, FERPA, or data usage, please contact us at [email protected].
